The Bodrum peninsula benefits from a particularly comfortable, temperate climate. It is warm and sunny during the summer period from April to September, mild and clear during winter. The terrain is rugged and mountainous but the peninsula has sufficient water to maintain green gardens and the famous tangerine groves, which are to be found everywhere on the peninsula.
